Welcome our newest steering committee member, Erin Day

Erin C. Day has been studying Art formally since she was 12 years old which equates to a very long time! She has a B.F.A. in Art Education with a concentration in Ceramics and a minor in Psychology. She has been teaching Art since 2000 and has taught in every setting possible- from preschool to adult, public, private, etc. Teaching keeps her on her toes in all mediums in both fine and applied arts! Depending on the day, you can find her at her easel with oils, acrylics or pastels or you might find her working in her ceramics studio. She works often in watercolor and inks and loves to make baskets, weave and do beading. Erin is a Christ follower, wife to Mike and mom to four wonderful young ladies. She has been homeschooling since 2008 with a hiatus for one year to return to the traditional classroom. Her two oldest have graduated and both attend Campbell University. Her two youngest are continuing to homeschool. Erin has a love for other cultures and has just set out on the adventure of gaining her certificate to teach English as a second language. She is hoping to couple this with Visual Art and break out beyond the borders of the United States.

Erin is excited to serve the Wake Forest Arts Community through the Steering Committee!
