Blackbird Brewery Pop-up

Join us for a pop-up market at Blackbird Brewery on SaturdayJune 10th, from 1:00 -7:00. Blackbird Brewery is a new micro-brewery located in the Heritage community at 3608 Rogers Branch Rd. Their business has been slamming since opening in December and the owners, Ian and Harmony VanGundy, are big supporters of artistic endeavors. Along with the WFGA, Blackbird Brewery will be promoting our pop-up market on their events web page, their newsletter, and Instagram (over 1,300 followers). The vast majority of our vendors that participated in the March pop-up at Blackbird Brewery was very pleased with their sales.

We will be located in their 5,000 square feet outdoor patio and beer garden. You will be able to put up tents. This is not a bar – it is truly a family destination and people bring their kids and even their dogs outside.

The market will run from 1:00 – 7:00. Their busiest hours are from 2:00 – 6:00 on Saturdays. Two spaces will be reserved for drop-off and pick-up that are located at the entrance to the brewery gardens. Set up can begin at 11:30 since only 2 people can drop off their products at a time.

We will only have space for 10 vendors and this is a members only event. It will be juried and we are looking for a variety of vendors. The suggestion would be to ensure you have “impulse products” available. There are hundreds of houses in the Heritage area and most are upper middle class so that is your primary market.

It is a juried event to ensure we have a variety of products. Where jury scores don’t narrow down the 10 vendors, we will do a first come/first serve and the members that can’t do this pop-up will be first on the list for the next pop-up.

There will be a charge of $15 to participate in the market. There isn’t an application fee so payment is only due if you are accepted into the pop-up. This fee will be used for signs and promotions to ensure the highest possible number of customers.

Per state law, you must have a tax id to participate in this pop-up market.

In case of inclement weather, we will cancel and reschedule.

Cut-off date for signups is Wednesday, May 31st, but we encourage you to apply early. You will be notified of acceptance into the market by Friday, June 2nd.
