GUIDELINES FOR ART SUBMISSIONS
Updated Guidelines for Art Submission
*All art should be original. Copyrighted work, logos and work posted on social media by other people is not acceptable for shows. Printed canvases, cards or other copies of work should not be submitted for group shows. Original photographs are welcome.
*All art should be framed and wired or painted around the edge of the canvas and wired for hanging. Wires should not hang higher than the top of the art when pulled tight.
*All submitted work should be thoroughly DRY and ready to hang at drop off.
*Art smaller than 11"x14" will be displayed in the case or on table tops. Please provide an appropriate easel for small works, they do not hang well on the wall.
*Please provide a display for all jewelry, soft goods, pottery or sculpture that does not stand alone.
* All work submitted for any show should include an inventory sheet at the time it is dropped off. This should include: title, size, medium, price and artist name and contact information for each piece.
*All work to be shown should have prepared tags/tents that include the following: Title, size, medium, price, artist name and contact information.
*The Renaissance Center is not responsible for art not picked up or left behind. Please use Sign up Genius at the end of each show to schedule a time to pick up your work. If you cannot not pick up that day, please arrange for someone else to do so for you.
*A Sign Up Genius will be sent out approximately one month before the next group show. Please sign up for one slot to pick up or drop off. Please tell how many pieces you intend to bring to the upcoming show in the comments.
*Communication is through Sign Up Genius. If you do not sign up, you may miss out on information.
